Valentines Day
Valentines Day was great for me. I had alot of fun :) Austen came over and I gave her the big bear I bought her. She loved it. Walked into my room, squealed, turned around and hugged me :D Then we exchanged other gifts, cards, chocolate. We watched Friends on my laptop, and did other activities ;) I hope all of you had a great time!

Katies Beach Party
This is not a picture of last night. As soon as Lola posts her pic's, I'll change this one.So last night I went to Katie's sweet 16 party, and loved it! I had an absolute blast. We went down to Shelter Island because she wanted a beach party with a fire. I rode in the back of her dad's truck: No seatbelts! We sat on makeshift seats which were wooden crate loading stands with blankets on top and blankets to rest back on. It was a great experience. We got to the beach, set up, and started the fire. After a bit, an elderly couple came along and started a fire in the ring next to us. I left to the restrooms after smores, and when I came back, I noticed that pit had been abandoned. The fire was slowly going out, so I got Wes from the other fire and had him help me to get the other going. How did we do this? The couple had left all their wood! We had th thing going WELL in no time. The rest of the night was pretty much fun and games. It was great. Hope Katie had a great time, I know I did :)

Overturning Prop H8TE

So there is a group called Equality for All that I am a member of, and a few days ago they sent me an email stating that The Supreme Court of California will hear cases in favor of over-turning Proposition 8 which is great. I personaly will be holding a day of silence during that day in order to show my support. The hearings are scheduled for March 5th from 9:00am - 12:00pm. It is expected right now that since the Supreme Court was the first to rule the law unconstitutional, they will most likely overturn Prop 8.
Vista Speech Recognition

Hey everyone! So I decided to finally make an attempt at trying to start and continue a blog. Welcome. I will hopefuly be posting all my different thoughts on here, so keep checking back.
For my first blog, I'd like to let everyone know of a really, REALLY cool feature in Windows Vista: Speech Recognition. What's so great? If you have a mic, you can control every asspect of your computer with your voice. Want to open iTunes? "Start (or Open) iTunes. My personaly favorite: Speak and it will type for you. That's right! You can teach your computer to recognize your voice so that when you dictate to your computer it will type phrases that you speak. You can access voice recognition by clicking start, control panel, and in the search box type speech recognition. The speech recognition menu will show in the search box. Select it and select train your computer to better understand you. You will follow a series of props were the computer will have you read a sentence aloud. To write this post, I used to speech recognition. Voice to Computer Technology is still new, so be patient with your computer and train your computer to learn your voice.
